The Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA)

The Association for Medical Imaging Management is the professional organization representing management at all levels of hospital imaging departments, freestanding imaging centers, and group practices. Founded in 1973, AHRA’s 5000 members reach across the country and around the world. The American Osteopathic College of Radiology (AOCR)

The American Osteopathic College of Radiology (AOCR) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1941 as the principal organization serving osteopathic radiologists. The AOCR is committed to advancing the practice of radiology by promoting excellence in education, research and the delivery of quality, cost-effective healthcare while embracing the tenets of osteopathic medicine. The society seeks to foster closer solidarity and greater cooperation among radiologists, other branches of medicine and allied healthcare professionals. The AOCR is an affiliate organization of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and represents over 900 members.

The website contains over 230 procedure, exam and disease descriptions covering diagnostic and interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy and radiation safety and is updated frequently with new information. All material on the RadiologyInfo.org website is reviewed and approved by experts in the field of radiology from the ACR and RSNA, as well as other professional radiology organizations.

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA®) is an international society of radiologists, medical physicists and other medical professionals with more than 54,000 members from 136 countries across the globe.
